Honor CEO Madhav Sheth says the Honor Magic 6 Pro may launch in India soon
Honor may soon launch the Honor Magic 6 Pro foldable phone in India. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the company’s CEO mentioned the launch of a mobile phone. In this post, he provided details about the upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.
“Confidence or naivety?” Sheth wrote while sharing a photo of the upcoming flip phone. ‘. He also said that the Magic series “will actually exceed the expectations of Indian consumers”.
Honor Magic 6 Pro was first announced at Mobile World Congress 2024 in February this year. The Magic 6 Pro is just 8.9mm thick and has already launched in Europe and may come with similar features in India.
The smartphone has a 6.8-inch display that supports Full HD resolution and 120 Hz display. The display of this smartphone is also covered with a “nanocrystal shield”. This is a new glass that Honor says is ten times stronger than the previous glass in the event of a fall.
The Magic 6 Pro’s glass features a silicon nitride coating, which is expected to make the screen scratch-resistant. The company also claims that the smartphone also supports 4320Hz PWM dimming, which will be useful for users who are sensitive to this aspect of OLED displays.
The Magic 6 Pro is powered by the latest 3rd generation Snapdragon 8 chipset, has up to 1TB of storage, up to 16GB of RAM and runs Honor MagicOS 8 based on Android 14 out of the box.
For photography, the smartphone has a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 180-megapixel periscope unit that supports up to 2.5x zoom. The Magic 6 Pro also features a 50-megapixel front camera with DoF for secure face unlocking. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is powered by a 5600mAh battery.
