Mobile Health Van Launched for 26 Villages Near Zawar Mines
In a significant step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility in rural areas, Hindustan Zinc, in collaboration with Mamta Health Institute for Mother and Child, has launched a Mobile Health Van to provide primary healthcare services across 26 villages surrounding Zawar Mines.
This initiative is designed to deliver essential medical services directly to underserved communities, including health check-ups, vaccinations, and basic treatments. The primary goal is to bridge the healthcare gap in remote areas, ensuring that critical medical aid reaches those in need while promoting overall health awareness and well-being.

The Mobile Health Van was flagged off at a community center in Tidi, marking a major milestone in Hindustan Zinc’s commitment to social responsibility. The event was graced by key dignitaries, including:

A Critical Step Towards Rural Health Accessibility
The Mobile Health Van is a key initiative aimed at making healthcare more accessible to rural populations, particularly in remote and underprivileged areas. By providing on-the-spot treatment, seasonal disease management, and essential medicines, the van is set to transform healthcare delivery in these regions.
Since 2018, Hindustan Zinc has been actively involved in enhancing rural healthcare through various community initiatives. This project will extend its reach to over 110 villages across Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur, benefiting approximately 1.62 lakh people.
With a comprehensive outreach covering seven locations and five districts across Bhilwara, Rajsamand, Ajmer, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Salumber, this initiative highlights Hindustan Zinc’s unwavering commitment to improving healthcare awareness and accessibility in underprivileged areas.
