Udaipur : A police head constable was caught red-handed taking bribe of 30 thousand rupees by the Anti-Corruption Bureo in Dhariyawad of Pratapgarh district on Friday. The Banswara-Dungarpur ACB team had laid the trap to nab the corrupt constable Sunderlal Meena after receiving a complaint from one Mahipal Chaudhary and Mukesh Jain.

The cop was demanding the bribe amount in lieu to remove their names from a case registered against them under the Scheduled Castes and Tribes Act (Prevention of Atrocities). Both the men informed the ACB and the officials led a trap. The constable was arrested from his rented house at Parsola-Mandavi road and the bribe money was found from his pocket.
