Access to some services will be temporarily restricted during the upgrade on July 13th
Udaipur, July 2, 2024: HDFC Bank, India’s leading private bank, will undergo a system upgrade on July 13, 2024.
The bank is migrating its Core Banking System (CBS) to a new design platform aimed at improving the customer experience for its growing customer base of 9.3 billion individuals and businesses across the country. The transition will allow banks to increase their performance, expand their ability to handle large volumes of traffic, and improve reliability and scalability.
With this upgrade, HDFC Bank becomes one of the largest banks in the country to host its core banking system on the next-generation platform.
Planned upgrade details:
· Start: Saturday, July 13, 2024, 3:00 a.m.
End: July 13, 2024 (Saturday) at 4:30 p.m.
To minimize disruption, the bank has scheduled the change to occur on the second Saturday of the month, a public holiday. The company recommends customers plan their banking activities in advance.
