Google Pixel Watch 3 renders leaked: The next wearable could look almost identical to the Pixel Watch 2

Google is expected to unveil the successor to the Pixel Watch 2 in October this year. And it seems that the design of this upgrade could be almost the same as the current smartwatch products.

We say this because leaked renders of the Google Pixel 3 suggest the same thing. For those who don’t know, this smart wearable could launch alongside the Pixel 9 series. Ahead of the release, 91Mobiles teamed up with OnLeaks (Steve Hammerstoffer) to reveal renders of the wearable in a recent report.

According to the leak, the design is very similar to the existing Watch 2. The wearable is likely to have a 1.2-inch display with a thinner bezel. The round dial with rotating crown can be one of the attractive features of the smartwatch of the future.

The wearable is expected to run on Google’s WearOS. As for the strap, the leaked images suggest a black band, but more colors are likely to be added when the device launches.

OnLeaks mentions that this watch could be thicker than the previous generation models. This may be due to increased battery capacity or sensors. According to reports, the Watch 3 could have a 307mAh battery, compared to the Watch 2’s 304mAh battery.

The dimensions could be 40.79 x 40.73 x 14mm. 91Mobiles also mentioned that the watch could come in two different sizes this time.

This could point to the possibility of a newer “Pixel Watch 3 Pro” in addition to the vanilla Pixel Watch 3. The position of the speaker, crown, microphone and other hardware elements may remain unchanged in the coming hours. While there may not be any major design changes, the updates will likely focus on the product’s hardware and software.
