Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 will soon be released as the successor to Pixel Buds Pro. Pixel Buds Pro was announced in May 2022. The second generation of these True Wireless Stereo (TWS) headphones will be unveiled alongside the Pixel 9 series smartphones at the Made by Google event on August 13th. The expected colors were previously announced. My Pixel Buds Pro 2 are tilted. Currently, the e-commerce site’s listing for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 charging case cover shows color options and suggests several design upgrades.

The Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 charging case was spotted on Amazon by Reddit user @Living_Series8400 (via). An image shared by a user shows the pink headphones, which may be the raspberry variant used previously. The leak also reveals three additional color options: Haze, Mojito and Porcelain.
In the promotional image of the charging case, the top cover of the Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones appears larger and smoother. This is intended to create more space for the touch sensor compared to previous models. It may also take up more space in your charging case.
The pill-shaped frame of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 also looks larger compared to the frame of the Pixel Buds Pro. In the second case, the radiator grille is black on all models. However, on the Pixel Buds Pro 2, the grill color appears to match the rest of the top cover.
The design of the Pixel Buds Pro 2 charging case is almost identical to that of the Pixel Buds Pro. However, on the lid of the charging case of the upcoming TWS earphones, an additional cutout can be seen next to the cutout for the USB Type-C charging port. We suspect this slot is for a strap or speaker that can be used with the Find My Device feature.
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 Features (Expected)
Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 was previously spotted on Demko’s UL certification website. This list suggests that the claimed TWS headphones may have slightly longer battery life than existing headphones. The Pixel Buds Pro 2 charging case is likely to have a 650mAh battery, which is slightly larger than the 620mAh battery in the Pixel Buds Pro case. More information about these headphones will be released online closer to launch.
