The Google Pixel 9 lineup is scheduled to launch on August 13, but like Google’s other announcements, there’s nothing to be surprised about. The features, specifications and price of the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro models have been leaked online.
Google Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL price (rumor)
According to Reddit user “u/5XDylanBISHF” who posted a T-Mobile post on the r/GooglePixel subreddit, the Pixel 9 Pro could start at $999 (~Rs 83,800).
While the Pixel 9 Pro price remains the same, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will reportedly start at $1,099 for the 128GB model, which is $100 more than the Pro model.
Google is rumored to be holding a pre-order sale where the 512GB storage variant will be offered at the price of the 256GB model.

The Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL are expected to feature 6.2/6.8-inch displays with a peak brightness of 300 nits. The Pixel 9 phones, including the two Pro models, have 16GB of RAM and the new Tensor G4 chip. The Pixel 9 series is expected to arrive with Android 14, followed by an update to Android 15 soon.
In addition to the larger screen size, Google is also introducing 1TB of storage for the Pixel 9 Pro XL, which is the largest storage capacity ever offered on a Pixel phone.
The camera setup consists of a 42MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary camera on the back, and dual 48MP sensors for ultra-wide and telephoto photography.
New AI features are rumored to be in the works, including ‘Pixel Studio’ for creating images using AI and ‘Reimagin’ for manipulating objects in photos.
Google will officially announce the Pixel 9 series at an event on August 13, where all details will be confirmed.
