The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be unveiled at the annual Made by Google event on August 13th. The tech giant has already released a teaser video for the successor to the Pixel Fold. As the release date approaches, a promotional video has surfaced online that appears to be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. A leaked video shows the fold unfolding completely flat. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold comes in two color options and a larger folding screen. Several Gemini supported features will be included.

Android Headlines has shared a promotional video for the upcoming Pixel 9 Pro Fold. A 37-second video in German (currently unavailable) offers a detailed look at the phone and its AI-powered features. The color options are black and off-white, which are expected to be called Obsidian and Porcelain respectively.
The Pixel 9 Pro Fold appears to have several AI features, including Add Me, Best Take, Circle to Search, Gemini, and Magic Editor. The main display appears to be larger than the Pixel Fold, which could allow users to quickly switch between apps. Additionally, in the promotional video, the phone opens 180 degrees completely flat. This foldable model appears to have a new hinge and is very similar to the OnePlus Open.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is expected to launch with a 6.3-inch cover display, an 8-inch main display and 16GB of RAM. The phone is expected to use the new Tensor G4 chip and feature a triple rear camera unit consisting of a 48-megapixel main camera, a 10.5-megapixel sensor and a 10.8-megapixel sensor. It will likely have a 10-megapixel front camera for selfies and video chats. It’s expected to be thinner and lighter than the original Fold.
The Made by Google event is scheduled to take place on August 13 in global markets, including the United States. The launch in India will take place on August 14th.
