Google is scheduled to hold its next “Made by Google” hardware announcement event on August 13th and the company is actively promoting its next flagship model, the Pixel 9. The leak has a lot to say about the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro Fold and Pixel 9 Pro XL revealed, but speculation remains. Recently, alleged images of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL surfaced online. In the leaked renders, the vanilla model is shown in pink, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL is seen with a cream finish. This new leak comes a few days after Google officially announced the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) posted renders of the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL on X. The renders suggest that the phone will have smooth sides and rounded corners. The renders of the Pixel 9 show the previously revealed pink color. The Pixel 9 Pro XL, on the other hand, comes in Google’s traditional Chinese color.
Both the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL appear to have a separate oval island in the middle. This design choice is different from previous products. The Pixel 8 series features a wide frame that extends across the back and connects to the edges on each side. The back is glossy and the camera strip is matte.
Google will announce the Pixel 9 series at a hardware launch event in August. The event begins on August 13 at 10:00 AM PT (10:30 PM IST). Last week, Google previewed the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Vanilla Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL are also announced at the same time.
The Pixel 9 series is said to come with the Tensor G4 chip running Android 15 and up to 16GB of RAM. The vanilla Pixel 9 is expected to feature a 6.24-inch AMOLED display, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL may have a 6.73-inch AMOLED display. The Pixel 9 family is expected to come with an updated Exynos 5400 modem.
