Google I/O is still a month away and the company is expected to unveil the Google Pixel 8a smartphone. Among the leaks, renderings and real-life photos have surfaced online, and now the purported marketing images can be viewed online.
If the Android headlines are correct, the Pixel 8a images show four colors: Black, Ceramic, Blue and Very Light Green. Notably, Google introduced a subtle mint color for the Pixel 8 earlier this year, but the leaked images of the green color are darker.

Google Pixel 8a specs
Like the previous model, the phone is said to have a 6.1-inch display. It is not clear if the refresh rate will be 90 Hz or 120 Hz. The Pixel 8a is said to have a thicker bezel, especially compared to the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro below. Like last year’s flagships, it will use Google’s Tensor G3 chip.
Pixel 9 series rumors
Some rumors suggest that this could be the last Pixel A series phone as Google could release three versions of the Pixel 9: Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Phones come in different screen sizes and prices. According to some reports, Google is planning to release the Pixel Fold 2, so the 9a might not be included in the lineup.
According to the report, the Pixel 9 series smartphones will be equipped with a modem that provides a satellite connection, similar to the iPhone. The phones are expected to come with Exynos 5400 modem and can be paired with Tensor G4.
The new satellite-capable modem will reportedly be available for the next-generation Pixel 9, Fold and 5G tablets.
