Gold and Silver Prices Continue to Fall Across Major Indian Cities

New Delhi, October 23 (Udaipur Kiran) — The downward trend in the domestic bullion market continued on Bhai Dooj, with both gold and silver prices slipping further. Gold prices have now fallen for the fourth consecutive day, while silver has also seen a major decline in today’s trading.

According to market data, gold prices dropped between ₹4,300 and ₹4,690 per 10 grams. The price of 24-carat gold is currently trading between ₹1,25,880 and ₹1,26,030 per 10 grams across most Indian markets, while 22-carat gold is selling between ₹1,15,390 and ₹1,15,540 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also witnessed a steep fall of up to ₹4,000 per kilogram. The metal is now retailing at ₹1,59,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,26,030 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,15,540 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, 24-carat gold stood at ₹1,25,880 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,15,390 per 10 grams.

Similarly, Ahmedabad recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,25,930 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,15,440 per 10 grams. In Chennai and Kolkata, 24-carat gold was priced at ₹1,25,880 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold traded at ₹1,15,390 per 10 grams.

In Lucknow, gold prices stood at ₹1,26,030 (24-carat) and ₹1,15,540 (22-carat) per 10 grams. Patna reported rates of ₹1,25,930 for 24-carat gold and ₹1,15,440 for 22-carat gold, while in Jaipur, gold prices were recorded at ₹1,26,030 and ₹1,15,540 per 10 grams respectively.

Other states, including Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha, also reported similar declines. In Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at ₹1,25,880 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹1,15,390 per 10 grams.
