Generic Engineering surges on securing orders worth Rs 299 crore

Generic Engineering is currently trading at Rs. 75.45, up by 1.90 points or 2.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 73.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 75.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 81.00 and Rs. 72.00 respectively. So far 6708 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘X’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 194.40 on 24-Sep-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 64.60 on 02-Aug-2019.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 81.00 and Rs. 71.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 314.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 52.47%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.64% and 45.89% respectively.

Generic Engineering Construction & Projects has bagged orders worth Rs 298.88 crore from various new and existing reputed clients. The company received orders in two segments that are construction of industrial buildings segment and construction of residential buildings segment.
