Baramulla, February 28 : Heavy snowfall in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district has led to widespread power outages, leaving most parts of the district in darkness.
Residents are facing major inconveniences due to the electricity disruption, which has affected daily life.

According to officials from the Power Development Department (PDD), the snowfall has damaged 132 kV and 33 kV transmission lines, resulting in a breakdown of power supply. Restoration efforts are underway, and authorities have assured that electricity will be reinstated as soon as the damaged lines are repaired.
