Chapra : Police have seized truck load of foreign liquor from near Harpur village under Jalalpur police station late last evening. 116 cartoons of foreign liquor was kept under bycycle parts. Police have arrested two persons in this connection. SP Har Kishore Rai today told that during patrolling police intercepted a truck at Harpur village under Jalalpur police station and found that cartoons of foreign liquor were hidden under parts of by cycle.
He said that liquor was to be delivered to Muzaffarpur and Sitamadhi.He said that a swift car was guiding the truck and the moment the truck was arrested the Swift car sped away. He said that kingpins have been identified as Dhanu Pratap Singh of Masrak and Dharmendra Singh of Dumari Chhapiya village under Taraiya police station. Raids are on to nab them he added.SP said that 200 cartoons were already delivered at Sahajitpur.Arrested persons are Pawan Kumar and Banti Kumar of Haryana who were driving the truck.
