Citizens cast their votes in the last round of voting on Saturday, as the six-week parliamentary election ended today. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections began on April 19 and were held in seven phases after voters cast their votes in 57 constituencies across 8 states and the United States. Elections will be held today in the remaining 42 constituencies of Odisha. The election committee will count the votes on June 4.
2019 poll results predict landslide victory for BJP, VMR-Times Now predicts 306 seats for BJP and 132 seats for Congress. IPSOS News projected 18,336 seats for the saffron party and 82 seats for the Congress. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won 303 seats and the Congress 52.
