New Delhi, October 24 (Udaipur Kiran): The National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) has extended the last date to apply for teaching and non-teaching posts under the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) recruitment drive. Candidates can now submit their online applications till October 28, 2025, instead of the earlier deadline of October 23, 2025.
Interested applicants can visit emrs.tribal.gov.in to apply for a total of 7,267 vacancies, which include posts such as TGT, PGT, Principal, Hostel Warden, Female Staff Nurse, Accountant, Junior Secretariat Assistant, and Lab Attendant. The recruitment examination will be conducted by NESTS.
For Computer Science teachers, a B.Ed. degree is not mandatory for recruitment, though it will be required later for promotion to the PGT level.

Selection Process
The EMRS selection process includes Tier-I and Tier-II written exams, followed by skill tests, interviews, and document verification. Candidates will be assessed on qualifications, aptitude, and suitability for various posts.
Applicants whose marks are provided in CGPA must convert them into a percentage as per their board’s formula before submission. The exam city will be automatically allotted by the system.
Exam Dates
The Tier-I written examinations for EMRS Recruitment 2025 will be conducted on December 13, 14, and 21, 2025. The detailed post-wise and shift-wise schedule will be released after the completion of the online application process.
