Udaipur, January 12: (Udaipur Kiran). Shyama Kunwar Chauhan of Sukhwada village in the Mavli region has been awarded a Doctorate (Vidya Vachaspati) in the field of Physical Education. Her research focused on a study of the participation of girl students in sports at the higher education level in tribal-dominated areas of southern Rajasthan.

She completed her research under the guidance of Dr Hitesh Chandra Rawal. Shyama Kunwar Chauhan has been an accomplished sportsperson since the beginning and has remained actively associated with women’s sports and physical education.
The degree was conferred by Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde during the second convocation ceremony of Bhupal Nobles University. Her husband Narendra Singh Rathore and other family members expressed happiness over the achievement, describing it as a significant milestone in the field of women’s physical education.
