Dr. Kamlesh Sharma Promoted as Additional Director, Assumes Charge at Udaipur Information Center

Udaipur, January 14: The Government of Rajasthan has promoted Dr. Kamlesh Sharma, an officer from the 2005 batch of the Rajasthan Information and Public Relations Service, to the post of Additional Director. The official order was issued by the Department of Information and Public Relations, following the recommendation of the departmental promotion committee. Dr. Sharma assumed charge of his new role at the Udaipur Information Center on Tuesday evening.

As per the government directive, Dr. Sharma’s promotion fills the 2024-25 vacancy for the post of Additional Director. Until this promotion, he was serving as the Joint Director at the Udaipur Information Center. Known for his extensive experience in public relations, Dr. Sharma has contributed significantly to the department in various capacities over the years.

Hailing from Barodia village in Banswara district, Dr. Kamlesh Sharma has a long and distinguished career in the Rajasthan Information and Public Relations Service. He has previously served in key roles across several districts, including Dungarpur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, and at the state headquarters in Jaipur. His deep understanding of the state’s communication needs and grassroots-level public engagement has earned him a reputation as a capable and dedicated officer.

In his new role as Additional Director, Dr. Sharma will be responsible for overseeing the department’s information dissemination, media coordination, and public engagement strategies across the region.
