Mumbai, July 23: Television actress Donal Bisht has made her debut in Telugu cinema with the comedy-thriller film ‘MRP’. Reflecting on her experience, she shared that seeing herself on the big screen for the first time was one of the most memorable moments of her life.
During the pre-release event of ‘MRP’ in Hyderabad, Donal recalled the emotional moment of watching herself on the big screen, stating, “Working in a different medium and language was truly wonderful for me. The Telugu film industry is known worldwide for its great stories and filmmakers, and receiving so much love from such a place means a lot to me.”
She also expressed her gratitude towards Hindi-speaking audiences, noting that they equally appreciate Telugu films. “I am very happy that the South film industry has embraced me with open arms. I feel very fortunate,” she added.
Donal mentioned that while she has worked on television and web platforms, seeing herself on such a large screen was an emotional experience. “Every new opportunity teaches me something new, and this film has given me a chance to understand filmmaking from a fresh perspective. It made me realize that as an artist, I still have much to learn,” she said.
Looking ahead, Donal expressed her desire to continue working in both Hindi films and Telugu cinema. “This is my first step in the world of films, and I am sincerely grateful for all the love and support I have received so far. I hope to be part of more meaningful projects and continue to grow as an artist,” she concluded.
