Udaipur, July 21 – In the spiritually auspicious month of Shravan, the Rameshwaram Mahadev Temple, located in Shri Ram Park, Chitrakoot Nagar Society, Udaipur, witnessed a vibrant and devotional atmosphere as devotees gathered for a special Sahastra Dhara Abhishek and musical Shiv Bhajans. The event, organized by the Jayprakash Dadhich family of the society, showcased an inspiring blend of faith, culture, and community spirit.

Sahastra Dhara Abhishek: A Thousand Streams of Devotion
The highlight of the celebration was the Sahastra Dhara Abhishek, a traditional ritual in which Lord Shiva is bathed through a thousand streams of sacred water. According to priest Pandit Jugal Kishore, this symbolic ritual is performed to invoke divine blessings and is a cherished tradition during Shravan.
Adding to the sanctity of the occasion, a team of five Vedic priests specially invited from Kishangarh performed the Rudri Path and Abhishek with complete Vedic rituals, elevating the spiritual ambiance of the temple.
Shiv Bhajans and Maha Aarti Uplift the Atmosphere
The event was further enriched by soulful renditions of Shiv Bhajans, which echoed throughout the temple premises. Devotees were seen immersed in chanting “Har Har Mahadev,” as the entire space resonated with devotional fervor. The Abhishek, which began at 11:30 AM, concluded with a grand Maha Aarti, attended by a large number of worshippers.

The celebration also brought together prominent members of the society and local community, including Tej Prakash Sharma (Society President), Himmat Singh Rao, Rajesh Garg, Niranjan Tailor, Ravi Dhabai, Kalawati Sharma, Sushila Sharma, Sulekha Singh, and Sapna Mali, among others.
