Container Corporation rises on BSE

Mumbai, April 16 (Udaipur Kiran): Container Corporation of India is currently trading at Rs. 490.90, up by 1.80 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 489.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 499.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 499.30 and Rs. 490.30 respectively. So far 45018 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 652.52 on 05-Jun-2025 and a 52 week low of Rs. 421.80 on 23-Mar-2026.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 499.30 and Rs. 467.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 37612.50 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 54.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.74% and 7.46% respectively.

Container Corporation of India has awarded contract worth Rs 175.36 crore (excluding GST) to M/s Braithwaite & Co for manufacture & supply of 9 nos BLSS (Spine Car) rakes on turnkey basis. The supplies are to be completed up to February 28, 2027, at a minimum of 2 rakes per month.
