Western Disturbance Brings Change in Weather, Rain Likely in Jaipur and Bharatpur

Jaipur, March 20 – The impact of a Western Disturbance brought cloudy weather to many parts of Rajasthan on Thursday. While some regions experienced light drizzle, strong winds swept through northern Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted rainfall in Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions on Friday, adding to the changing weather patterns in the state.
Temperature Variations Across Rajasthan
The shift in weather patterns led to fluctuations in temperature across various cities. Ten cities recorded maximum temperatures exceeding 35°C, while the presence of clouds resulted in an increase in nighttime temperatures in several regions.
🔹 Hottest City: Barmer recorded the highest temperature in the state at 37°C (max) and 22.4°C (min).
🔹 Warm Nights: Jaipur, Phalodi, Bikaner, and Dungarpur saw night temperatures rising above 20°C.
🔹 Cities Crossing 35°C: Chittorgarh, Barmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi, Bikaner, Dholpur, Baran, Dausa, Lunkaransar, and Pali all recorded daytime temperatures above 35°C.

According to Meteorological Center Director Radheshyam Sharma, a weak Western Disturbance has led to cloudy conditions and gusty winds in Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions.
