CloudSEK, an AI-powered cyber threat intelligence firm, has announced a significant milestone in its growth journey with the completion of its Series A2 and B1 funding rounds, securing $19 million (approx. ₹162.3 crore). The round included both Indian and US-based investors and aims to accelerate CloudSEK’s expansion plans, particularly in scaling its artificial intelligence (AI) models and enhancing platform integration.

Backed by Global Investors and Strategic Partners
CloudSEK’s latest fundraising round attracted investments from MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, and strategic players like Commvault. The company’s long-term investors such as the Meeran Family (founders of Eastern Group), StartupXSeed, Neon Fund, and Exfinity Ventures have also retained their stake, reaffirming confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.
While the firm did not disclose a lead investor for this round, the participation of both new and existing backers underscores a robust vote of confidence in CloudSEK’s evolving capabilities and global ambitions.
From Breach Response to Predictive Intelligence
Founded in 2015 by cybersecurity researcher Rahul Sasi, CloudSEK is known for its predictive threat intelligence platform, which identifies initial attack vectors (IAVs) such as leaked credentials, vulnerable APIs, and compromised third-party vendors. This forward-looking approach enables enterprises to take preemptive action before an actual breach occurs—transforming cybersecurity from reactive defense to proactive resilience.
“Over 60% of our net new revenue now comes from international markets, with the US emerging as our fastest-growing region. Importantly, we’ve achieved this scale while staying cash flow positive,” said Rahul Sasi, CloudSEK’s Co-Founder and CEO.
Driving Innovation with AI and Global Expansion
The newly raised capital will be channeled into scaling CloudSEK’s proprietary AI models, deepening platform capabilities, and expanding the company’s global footprint. The firm plans to invest significantly in product innovation, enhanced threat detection systems, and strategic partnerships that can expand its enterprise reach across banking, healthcare, technology, and public sectors.
CloudSEK’s platform is already trusted by over 250 enterprise customers, with a focus on predictive security analytics—a growing demand in today’s complex threat landscape.
Past Milestones and Continued Momentum
This latest funding round follows CloudSEK’s $7 million Series A round in 2021 and a $1.9 million pre-Series A round in 2018. The company’s continued emphasis on AI, threat intelligence, and international growth positions it as a leading innovator in the cybersecurity-as-a-service domain.
With its eyes set on scaling globally, CloudSEK aims to become a next-gen cybersecurity leader, helping organizations mitigate evolving digital threats with real-time, AI-driven insights.
