
Jaipur-Udaipur, August 8: Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma paid tribute to Salumber MLA Amritlal Meena, who passed away suddenly. On Thursday, Mr. Sharma visited Lalpuria (Semari) in Salumber, where he offered floral tributes to the late Mr. Meena and expressed his condolences to the grieving family.
In his message of condolence, the Chief Minister expressed shock at the news of Mr. Meena’s untimely demise, describing it as an irreparable loss for the state. He highlighted that Mr. Meena had been serving the people of Salumber as an MLA since 2013, being re-elected for three consecutive terms. Mr. Sharma praised Mr. Meena’s dedication to public service and his constant efforts for the welfare of the people.
The Chief Minister also noted that Mr. Amritlal Meena had worked selflessly for the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society and made significant contributions to the development of the region. He stated that Mr. Meena would always be remembered as a popular leader. Mr. Sharma prayed for the peace of the departed soul and for strength for the bereaved family to bear this loss.
During the tribute, Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, Minister of State for Cooperatives Gautam Dak, Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore, Udaipur City MLA Tarachand Jain, Udaipur Rural MLA Phoolsingh Meena, Vallabhnagar MLA Udaylal Dangi, Gogunda MLA Pratap Gameti, Shrichand Kriplani, social worker Dinesh Bhatt, along with a large number of public representatives, administrative officials, and local villagers, were present.
Notably, following the news of Mr. Meena’s passing, Chief Minister Sharma had postponed all scheduled programs for Thursday.
