From July 3, mobile bills will become a single charge for users of Airtel, Jio or V networks. These individual players have the potential to increase their monthly, quarterly and annual top-up plans by up to 25%. However, state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) continues to offer some of the cheapest tariff plans across the country.
These plans from BSNL are applicable to both existing users and those who are planning to migrate from their existing network. Please note that these programs are applicable across India except North East, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam. Additionally, BSNL’s network is limited to 4G networks, which can result in patchy coverage compared to private channels.
Some plans offer additional benefits with limited data and calling benefits for select periods. To avail the data and calling benefits, users need to opt for an additional recharge plan.
BSNL 107 Scheme
This affordable plan from BSNL has a validity of 35 days and offers 3GB 4G data and 200 minutes of voice calls. Likewise, there is a Rs 108 plan called Fast Recharge Coupon (FRC) which is only valid for new users. It offers unlimited calling, 1GB 4G data per day and is valid for 28 days.
BSNL Scheme 197
The plan is valid for 70 days and offers 2GB 4G data, unlimited calls and 100 SMS per day for the first 18 days. Users can opt for the Rs 199 plan and get unlimited calling for 70 days.
BSNL 397 Scheme
BSNL’s Rs 397 plan has a total validity of 150 days and offers almost unlimited calling and 2GB 4G data for the first 30 days.
BSNL plan 797
With a validity of 300 days, this plan offers unlimited calling and 2GB 4G data for the first 60 days.
BSNL Scheme 1999
BSNL’s Rs 1,999 recharge plan is valid for 365 days and offers the benefits of unlimited calling and 600GB 4G data during this period. With this plan, you can also enjoy BSNL songs and subscribe to various third-party services.
