Mumbai, April 4, 2025 — In a major move to accommodate the increased passenger traffic during summer holidays, Central Railway has announced 72 additional special train services departing from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai, to popular destinations including Raxaul, Saharsa, and Dhanbad. These trains will run on a special fare basis to ease long-distance travel demands during the peak summer months.

LTT Mumbai – Raxaul Weekly Special Trains (24 Services)
Train No. 05558 will depart from LTT Mumbai every Thursday at 7:55 AM from April 10 to June 26, 2025, arriving in Raxaul at 4:50 PM the next day. Return service, Train No. 05557, will run every Tuesday at 7:15 PM from April 8 to June 24, reaching Mumbai at 5:50 AM on the third day.
Key stops include Kalyan, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Buxar, Ara, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Sitamarhi, and Bairgania.
LTT Mumbai – Saharsa Weekly Special Trains (24 Services)
Train No. 05586 will run from LTT Mumbai every Sunday at 4:35 PM from April 13 to June 29, reaching Saharsa at 9:00 AM on the third day. Train No. 05585 will depart Saharsa every Friday at 5:45 PM from April 11 to June 27, reaching Mumbai by 5:30 AM on the third day.
Key stops include Kalyan, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. DDU Junction, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Hasanpur Road, Khagaria, Mankar, and Simri Bakhtiyarpur.
LTT Mumbai – Dhanbad Weekly Special Trains (24 Services)
Train No. 03380 will leave LTT Mumbai every Thursday at 5:00 PM from April 10 to June 26, arriving in Dhanbad at 8:00 AM on the third day. Return service, Train No. 03379, will run from Dhanbad every Tuesday at 11:00 PM from April 8 to June 24, reaching Mumbai by 2:15 PM on the third day.
Key stops include Kalyan, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Madan Mahal, Katni South, Byohari, Bargawan, Singrauli, Chopan, Renukoot, Garhwa Road, Daltonganj, Latehar, Khalari, Patratu, Barkakana, Bokaro Thermal, Chandrapura, and Katrasgarh.

Bookings for Train Nos. 05558, 05586, and 03380 will commence on April 5, 2025, at all computerized reservation centers and through the official website www.irctc.co.in.
These trains are being operated under special fare conditions, and early booking is advised due to high summer demand.
