CBSE Result 2025: What to Do If Official Websites Crash — Alternative Ways to Check Class 10, 12 Scores

As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) prepares to announce the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2025, more than 42 lakh students across India and abroad are set to check their marks online. With such high demand on official platforms like cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in, website slowdowns or crashes are common.

To avoid delays and ensure students get their results without technical hiccups, CBSE has enabled multiple alternative methods for result access.

Alternative Platforms to Check CBSE Results 2025

1. DigiLocker App and Website

CBSE, in partnership with the Ministry of Electronics and IT, offers digitally signed mark sheets on DigiLocker. These are legally valid for admissions and job applications.

How to access results on DigiLocker:

  • Visit digilocker.gov.in or open the DigiLocker app.

  • Log in using your registered mobile number or Aadhaar number.

  • Navigate to the CBSE section, choose Class 10 or Class 12 result.

  • Enter your roll number and the 6-digit PIN provided by your school.

  • Download your digitally signed marksheet.

2. UMANG App

The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance) app provides seamless access to CBSE results.

Steps to check via UMANG:

  • Open the UMANG app.

  • Go to Education Services > CBSE.

  • Select your class and input credentials (roll number, school number, etc.).

  • View or download your result instantly.

3. SMS Facility

For students in areas with limited internet access, CBSE has enabled result delivery via SMS.

To receive your result via SMS:

  • Type CBSE10 <roll number> or CBSE12 <roll number>

  • Send it to 7738299899

  • You will receive your result as a text message on your phone.

Tips for Students During Result Time

  • Be patient during website downtime. Use official alternatives instead of unverified third-party portals.

  • All digital mark sheets are valid for college admissions, competitive exams, and job applications.

  • Original hardcopy mark sheets will be distributed by respective schools post-declaration.

  • Avoid sharing roll numbers or personal information on unofficial websites.
