Mumbai, March 19 : A tragic incident occurred in Pune’s Hinjewadi Phase One early this morning when a private travel mini-bus caught fire, resulting in the death of four passengers and leaving eight others severely injured. The injured have been admitted to Ruby Hospital for treatment.

According to the police, the bus was carrying 12 employees of Vyoma Graphics Company to their workplace when the fire broke out in the engine while passing through the Hinjewadi Phase One area. Realizing the danger, the driver and staff members quickly exited through the front door. However, the rear door remained locked, trapping four employees inside, who tragically lost their lives on the spot.
Upon hearing the cries for help, local residents rushed to the scene and managed to rescue several passengers. Fire brigade officials arrived shortly after and successfully doused the flames. The Hinjewadi Police Station team has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
