Meanwhile, tech giant Apple has again warned iPhone users in at least 98 countries, including India, about a possible new Pegasus-like spyware attack. Apple’s warning said it discovered the company was “the target of a mercenary spyware attack that attempts to remotely compromise the iPhone associated with your Apple ID.”
The iPhone maker warned in an alert that the attack could target you because of who you are or what you do. Apple said that while such attacks could never be reliably detected, the company had great confidence in the warning and urged people to take it seriously.
