Udaipur : Uttar Pradesh minister for women, family and child development and Tourism Reeta Bahuguna said Brahma Baba preached girl education at a time when Indian women didn’t have access to it. A seed that he had sown then has now grown into a massive tree and women at Brahmakumaris have become messengers of peace and love for the world. Rita was addressing in one of the sessions on Sunday at the Brahmakumaris headquarters in AbuRoad during the second day of the global summit on spirituality, science and environment.
She said that it’s a delight to see people of every caste, religion, community, sect, gender and different countries congregate here at Brahmakumaris. The minister said spirituality is not worshiping but to realize one’s existence and purpose in life. Speaking at the occasion Minister for finance, Maharashtra Sudhir Mungativar emphasised on the importance of plantation and said that it is the moral responsibility of every individual to save mother earth from increasing pollution due to human ignorance. Several noted speakers, political leaders and scientists expressed their views on the summit theme in subsequent sessions.
