
Udaipur : A 10th grader left his home of his own will, caught a train to New Delhi and later made a call from his mobile to his father claiming that he has been kidnapped and the abductor is demanding 50 lakh rupees to release him.
The boy’s father Rajendra Pandey an employee at the ropeway here, filed a complaint at the police station but the truth came out when the police traced the boy’s location at Delhi. Shubham Pandey the missing boy had told his father that he was kidnapped and also gave a route chart through where the kidnapper had taken him. Police found the route chart to be that of the railway schedule and so they sought CCTV footage from the railway station in which the boy was seen roaming alone at the platform. Police sighed relief after confirming that the kid had planned the story himself and it wasn’t a real kidnap as suspected. A team has gone to Delhi to find the boy, sources claimed.
