Khan appeared in Jodhpur court on Monday and the hearing was adjourned after his lawyer Mahesh Bora sought time to begin arguments. The next date of hearing is July 17.
Khan, 52, was found guilty last April of violating Indian wildlife laws by killing a blackbuck, an endangered species of antelope, in 1998. He spent two days in jail before he was granted bail by the same court.
