Patna, May 6: The Bihar Cabinet is set to expand on Thursday, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Nitin Nabin, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in attendance. Several central ministers and key NDA leaders will also be present at the event.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Sarawagi stated on Wednesday that PM Modi and Nitin Nabin will witness the cabinet expansion ceremony. Prominent leaders, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Health Minister JP Nadda, will also participate, along with NDA leaders like Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi. All NDA MPs from Bihar and central ministers from the state are expected to join the event.
Sarawagi noted that there is tremendous enthusiasm among party leaders, workers, and the general public regarding PM Modi and Nitin Nabin’s visit to Bihar. This atmosphere reflects the party’s growing popularity and the public’s trust in its leadership.
The streets will be filled with people welcoming PM Modi and Nitin Nabin, as extensive preparations are underway for the grand ceremony.
Sanjay Sarawagi mentioned that the historic Gandhi Maidan is being beautifully decorated for the oath-taking ceremony. A large stage equipped with modern facilities is being constructed, and security personnel will be deployed at key locations to ensure smooth operations and avoid inconvenience to the public.
Posters have been put up by workers and citizens throughout Patna in anticipation of the oath-taking ceremony.
The arrival of prominent NDA leaders for the ceremony has already begun in Patna. BJP National General Secretary, Rajya Sabha MP, and Bihar in-charge Vinod Tawde has reached Patna, where he was welcomed at Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport.
He added that the city has been adorned with flags and banners from the airport to Gandhi Maidan in preparation for PM Modi and Nitin Nabin’s arrival, with decorative arches set up at various locations. Party representatives are coordinating with the district administration to finalize the event’s arrangements.
