Bharti Airtel gains on reporting around 3-fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Bharti Airtel is currently trading at Rs. 710.90, up by 6.55 points or 0.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 704.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 719.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 719.00 and Rs. 706.00 respectively. So far 109152 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘A’ stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 781.90 on 24-Nov-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 573.19 on 26-Aug-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 719.00 and Rs. 681.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 419477.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.93%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.76% and 5.31% respectively.

Bharti Airtel has reported net profit of Rs 406.50 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 as compared to net loss of Rs 436.10 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 24.24% at Rs 21,263.70 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 17,114.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported around 3-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 2,468.80 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 941.40 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.92% at Rs 32,996.80 crore for Q1FY23 as compared Rs 27,063.40 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
