Barmer-Haridwar Summer Special Train Announced

Jodhpur, May 9 (Udaipur Kiran) — Railways has announced a bi-weekly summer special train between Barmer and Haridwar for the convenience of passengers travelling from western Rajasthan during summer vacations. The train will run via Jodhpur, Medta Road and Bikaner route and will operate 20 trips from both sides.

Karni Ram said the decision was taken considering the extra passenger rush during the summer season. He said the special train will help passengers get confirmed seats and make travel easier.

Train number 04811, Barmer-Haridwar bi-weekly special train, will run from May 11 to July 16 every Monday and Thursday. The train will depart from Barmer at 4.15 am, reach Jodhpur at 8.40 am and leave at 8.50 am. It will reach Haridwar at 4.10 am the next day.

Similarly, train number 04812, Haridwar-Barmer bi-weekly special train, will run from May 12 to July 17 every Tuesday and Friday. The train will depart from Haridwar at 5.15 am and reach Jodhpur at 1.30 am the next day. After departing from Jodhpur at 1.40 am, it will arrive in Barmer at 6.35 am.

Hitesh Yadav said the train will halt at Baytu, Balotra, Samdari, Dunda Daaluni, Jodhpur, Gotan, Medta Road, Nagaur, Nokha, Bikaner, Lalgarh, Lunkaransar, Arjansar, Rajiyasar, Suratgarh, Pilibanga, Hanumangarh, Mandi Dabwali, Bathinda, Dhuri, Ambala Cantt and Saharanpur stations.

The special train will have a total of 18 coaches, including one Second AC coach, six Third AC coaches, five sleeper class coaches, four general class coaches and two guard coaches.
