Arrest Warrant Issued Against Sonu Sood in ₹10 Lakh Fraud Case After Repeated Court Summons Ignored

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has found himself in legal trouble as a court in Ludhiana has issued an arrest warrant against him in connection with a ₹10 lakh fraud case. The warrant was issued by Judicial Magistrate Ramanpreet Kaur after Sood repeatedly failed to appear in court for testimony despite being summoned multiple times.

The case was filed by Ludhiana-based lawyer Rajesh Khanna, who alleged that a man named Mohit Shukla defrauded him of ₹10 lakh by convincing him to invest in fake Rijika coins. The court required Sonu Sood to testify as a witness, but despite receiving several official summons, the actor never showed up in court, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.

The court order directs Mumbai’s Oshiwara Police Station to arrest Sonu Sood and present him before the court. The magistrate clearly stated that Sood had been notified multiple times and was aware of the case, yet he failed to appear even once. The court found this non-compliance unacceptable and issued the warrant to ensure his presence at the next hearing, scheduled for February 10.

As of now, Sonu Sood or his legal representatives have not issued any official statement regarding the case or the arrest warrant. Known for his philanthropic efforts, Sood has been in the public eye for his humanitarian work, but this legal development has added a new challenge to his profile. With the next court hearing approaching, all eyes are on the actor to see whether he will respond to the legal proceedings or if further action will be taken by law enforcement authorities.
