Apple Vision Pro will soon be available for purchase in China, France and other international markets, the company announced on Monday at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2024.
Apple’s first space computer was first announced at WWDC 2023 and became available for purchase six months later, but sales were initially limited to the US market. However, Apple has announced that the Vision Pro will be available in other international markets starting June 28th. China, Japan and Singapore will be among the first new countries to have Vision Pro in stores.
Apple Vision Pro is now more available
The company announced during the event that Apple Vision Pro pre-orders will begin in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore on Friday, June 14 at 6 a.m. local time. The headset will begin shipping on June 28th. Meanwhile, customers in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and the UK can pre-order the mixed reality headset from 5am local time on June 28th. It will be available from July 12th.
“The excitement for Apple Vision Pro has been tremendous and we are excited to bring the magic of spatial computing to even more customers around the world,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said in a statement.
Apple Vision Pro price
Notably, the Apple Vision Pro starts at $3,499 (approximately Rs. 290,000) in the US and is available in three storage variants of 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. Additionally, users can purchase additional Zeiss optical inserts for $99 (approximately Rs. 8,000) for reading lenses and $149 (approximately Rs. 12,000) for prescription lenses.
Apple says those interested in purchasing the Vision Pro can schedule a 30-minute demo session at their local Apple Store. To do this, you need to scan your face with Face ID, test different rings and optical seals to make sure they fit well on your face without causing discomfort, and adjust the lens.

Apple claims the demo will allow buyers to familiarize themselves with the Vision Pro’s basic functionality, as well as the eye movements, gestures and voice commands required to interact with the interface.
