Apple rumoured to announce new iPad Pro models on May 7

After two years of waiting, Apple is preparing to launch the new iPad Pro model on May 7th. Rumor has it that the new model will have significant improvements that will be worth the wait. Here’s a rundown of everything you can expect from the new iPad Pro

 iPad Pro

The iPad Pro may have an OLED display

The biggest change to the iPad Pro is the OLED display. OLED displays offer significantly better optics than current LCD or mini-LED panels. With OLED, black tones appear like real black instead of gray, colors are emphasized and the contrast is intensified.

The new iPad Pro models will also be thinner than before thanks to slimmer OLED panels. The iPad Pro will continue to be available in two different sizes: 11-inch and 12.9-inch. Both sizes should have OLED displays.

Chip upgrade

The next iPad Pro will be a speed demon thanks to Apple’s next-generation M3 chip. This is the same chip that powers Apple’s latest MacBook Pro.

Better keyboard and pencil

To complement the amazing new hardware, Apple is also improving its keyboard and pen accessories. The redesigned Magic Keyboard with a more durable aluminum finish turns your iPad Pro into a makeshift laptop.

The new Apple Pencil with interchangeable tips can simulate different pens, pencils or art tools. It has the potential to revolutionize the digital design experience for artists and graphic designers.

Planned price increase

According to rumors, the 11-inch iPad Pro could cost around $1,500 (roughly Rs. 125,000), while the larger 12.9-inch model could cost over $1,800 (roughly Rs. 150,000).

As we get closer to launch, we should learn more about the new iPad Pro models. The iPad Pro announcement is scheduled for Apple’s “Let Loose” special event on May 7th. The event will be streamed live on apple.com beginning at 7:30 p.m. PT.
