Apple Arcade Adds Balatro+, NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition and More in September and October
Apple Arcade is adding five games in September and October, including indie title Balatro and popular basketball sim NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition. In addition to the two original titles, Apple is also adding Food Truck Pup+, Furistas Cat Cafe+ and Smash Hit+. The new addition follows NFL Retro Bowl ’25, Monster Train+ and Apple Vision Pro’s Puzzle Sculpt title. All three games joined the gaming subscription service on September 5th.
In addition to the games, the iPhone maker announced updates to existing arcade titles such as Wylde Flowers, Sonic Dream Team, Outlanders 2: Second Nature and Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
Baratoro+
Balatro was released earlier this year for PC and consoles to great success. This roguelike poker deck builder was created by one person and is coming to iOS and Android on September 26th. Balatro+, the Apple Arcade version of the title, will be released on the same day with no ads, no microtransactions and no introductory price.
In Ballatro, players create a combination of poker hands and joker cards with unique abilities. Players then must clear the tougher ant, including small blinds, big blinds and big blinds, which bring unique challenges to the table such as revealing special cards. Players will need skill, quick thinking and a bit of luck to defeat the blind boss and complete the final stage. Balatro+ is coming to Apple Arcade on September 26th and can be played on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro.
NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition
The latest 2K hit basketball sim arrives on Apple Arcade on October 3rd. For the first time, mobile players can experience Neighborhood Mode. NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition also features an improved Best Mode, allowing players to relive the career-defining moments of NBA icons. Players can also embark on a journey online and challenge other players in MyCareer mode. NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition will be available on Apple devices starting next month.
Food Truck Puppy+
In October, Apple Arcade subscribers can also enjoy Food Truck Pup+, a food truck management game. The ad-free version of the title requires players to build their crap empire from scratch. You can also design restaurants, clothing, and even hire cute dogs to help you run your business. Food Truck Pup+ also presents itself in a classic and colorful pixel art style.
Festus cat cafe +
Another cozy game is coming to Apple Arcade next month. In Furistas Cat Cafe+, players connect cute cats with cats to maintain and expand their cat collection. Developed by Runaway Play, this game allows players to create their own unique cat cafe that is fully customizable. “Frista Cat Cafe+” is a must-have for cat lovers and will be available on October 3rd.
Noise + footfall
In this rail shooter from indie developer Mediocre, players shoot metal balls through various destructible environments. Players move through the levels to the music and destroy the glass barriers. The game features 50 unique rooms and 11 graphic styles, offering players unique challenges. Smash Hit+ is also coming to Apple Arcade on October 3rd.
All participating games in Apple Arcade are available to subscribers at no additional cost. Apple’s gaming subscription service currently includes more than 200 titles, with new games being added every month. In India, Apple Arcade costs Rs. 99 per month, this service is also included with your Apple One subscription.
