April 2025 Performance: Container and Liquid Cargo Lead Growth
APSEZ reported handling 37.5 million metric tonnes (MMT) of cargo in April 2025, marking a 4% YoY growth. The uptick was driven by a robust 21% rise in container volumes and an 8% growth in liquid and gas cargo.
The company’s logistics arm also recorded healthy growth:
Rail volumes stood at 57,751 TEUs, a 17% YoY increase
GPWIS (General Purpose Wagon Investment Scheme) volume came in at 1.8 MMT, up 4% YoY
