Udaipur : Sukher police station in Udaipur has arrested a cunning accused who had reported a robbery of 5 lakh rupees. CI Himanshu Singh Rajawat said that the accused Lokendra (28), son of Maninder Kumar, resident of Neemuch, has been arrested.
The complainant, Hasmukh Lal, had filed a case. In it, he stated that he is the Cath Lab Incharge at Pacific Hospital located in Bhilwara ka Bedla and the head of this department is Dr. Atulaabh Bajpai. A boy named Lokendra Panwar works in the Cath Lab. I had sent him to the bank to deposit 5 lakh rupees. He was asked to collect the money from his wife at home and then deposit it. The wife gave Lokendra the money in a black bag. A few hours later, Lokendra received a call from me saying that three bike-borne youths had robbed him of the money on Sapetiya Road. After this, the complainant reached Sapetiya Road with one of his companions. There, Lokendra’s bike was found with a broken headlight.
He narrated the entire sequence of events of the robbery. However, the complainant did not believe Lokendra’s story of the incident. Because the place where the incident happened is a common road, such an incident is less likely to happen during the day. He filed a case against unknown persons at the police station. After this, the police interrogated the accused strictly and he confessed to the incident being false. The police have recovered Rs 4.50 lakh, the bike used in the incident and the bank cheque book from the accused. He had spent 50 thousand rupees on hobbies and fun.
