The Gujarat High Court has announced the recruitment of 245 vacancies for the posts of Stenographer Grade I and II. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website hc-ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
Educational Qualification:
- English Stenographer Grade-II (Class-II): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
- Speed of 120 words per minute in English shorthand, basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of English, Gujarati and Hindi languages.
- English Stenographer Grade-III (Class-III): Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
- Speed of 100 words per minute in English shorthand, basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of English, Gujarati and Hindi languages.
Age Limit:
- English Stenographer Grade-II (Class-II): 21 to 40 years
- English Stenographer Grade-III (Class-III): 21 to 35 years
Fees:
- SC, ST, OBC (SEBC), EWS, PH, Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 750
- All other candidates: Rs. 1500
Exam Pattern:
- Elimination Test (Objective Type – MCQ): 100 marks
- Shorthand/Skill Test: 70 marks
- Interview: 30 marks
Salary:
- English Stenographer Grade-II: Rs. 44,900- 1,42,400 per month
- English Stenographer Grade-III (Class-III): Rs. 39,900- 1,26,600 per month
