Udaipur : A sanitation supervisor at the Udaipur municipal corporation and his agent a sanitation worker, were arrested by the Anti Corruption bureau on monday after being caught red-handed taking bribe of five thousand five hundred rupees.
Shabnam, the complainant is also a sanitation worker who told the ACB sleuths that Maqbool Hussain, their supervisor demanded five thousand five hundred monthly from the workers against assigning them duties and marking their attendance on the roll register. He didnt mark the attendance of those who didnt pay him the monthly bribe amount thus causing the workers loss on daily basis for absence. The supervisor took the bribe money through one of his aide Mushtak Hussain who is also one of the workers. On verification of complaint, the ACB laid a trap and caught both the men red handed.
