Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro were launched in India in January with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. The Chinese smartphone maker is expected to add a new product to its X100 series with the launch of the Vivo X100s. Ahead of Vivo’s official announcement, an informed source has hinted at the color options and specifications of the Vivo X100. It is said that there are 4 types of color variations. It will likely feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chip. The Vivo X100s is expected to launch as the successor to the Vivo X90s.
The Tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo (translated from Chinese) stated that the Vivo X100 will be available in black, turquoise, white and titanium colors. Like its siblings Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro, it is said to be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC.
The Vivo X100s is equipped with a flat screen with 1.5K resolution and narrow bezels. It can be installed with a flat metal frame and glass on the front and back.
This device is an upgrade over last year’s Vivo X90. The latter was launched in China in June last year and was priced at CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 45,300) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
The Vivo X90s features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ (1260 x 2800 pixels) AMOLED display. It runs on an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It features a triple rear camera setup powered by a 50MP Sony IMX663 primary sensor. There is a 32-megapixel sensor on the front. It has a built-in 5000mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging.
The Vivo X100 Pro and Vivo X100 were launched in India in January at a price of Rs 100 crore. 89999 Rs 63999 per piece. The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chip and has three cameras on the back. It features a 6.78-inch curved 8LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
