Udaipur : A minor road rage incident in Udaipur on Thursday night escalated into a violent confrontation, leading to a stabbing and subsequent protests.

According to local police, the incident occurred near Surajpol when Chetan Singh Panwar, a resident of Ravji ka Hata, was riding his bike. He was allegedly cut off by Shoeb, a resident of Helawada, leading to a heated argument. The altercation escalated, and Panwar stabbed Shoeb in the shoulder.

Shoeb was rushed to MB Hospital, where he underwent surgery to remove the knife. Meanwhile, a large crowd of people, including Shoeb’s family and community members, gathered at the hospital, demanding strict action against the accused. They demanded that the accused’s house be demolished and that the victim’s family be provided with government jobs.

The situation grew tense as the crowd refused to disperse, leading to a heavy police presence. After several hours, the police managed to calm the situation and disperse the crowd.

The accused, Chetan Singh Panwar, has been arrested.
