Scrutiny of nomination papers will take place on Wednesday and the last date for withdrawal of nominations is October 26.
The 18 assembly segments include 12 seats of all seven districts of Maoist affected Bastar division and 6 constituencies of Rajnandgaon district. About 31 lakh 80 thousand voters will exercise their franchise.
Elections to the 90 constituencies of Chhattisgarh assembly are scheduled to be held in two phases on November 12 and 20.
The notification for the elections in the rest of the 72 constituencies in the second phase would be issued on October 26.
