Summer Special Train from Madar Junction to Ranchi to Run from April 6: Full Schedule and Details

Ranchi, April 3 – In a major relief to summer travelers, the Ministry of Railways has announced a Summer Special Train between Madar Junction (Jaipur) and Ranchi, commencing April 6 through June 29, 2025. The special train will operate once a week every Sunday, ensuring comfortable and extended travel convenience for passengers across states.

Complete Schedule of Madar–Ranchi Summer Special Train

The train number 09619 Madar–Ranchi Summer Special will depart every Sunday at 1:50 PM from Madar Junction, halting at the following stations:

• Jaipur – 3:40 PM

• Sawai Madhopur – 6:20 PM

• Sogaria – 5:55 PM

• Guna Junction – 11:25 PM

• Sagar – 2:45 AM (next day)

• Katni Murwara – 6:10 AM

• Chopan – 1:40 PM

• Daltonganj – 5:35 PM

• Lohardaga – 8:10 PM

• Ranchi – 9:25 PM (Monday)

The return journey, Train number 09620 Ranchi–Madar Summer Special, will start from Ranchi every Monday at 11:55 PM, beginning April 7 through June 30, 2025, reaching Madar Junction on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. This service also includes 13 round trips.

Coach Composition

Each of the two special trains will comprise 18 coaches, distributed as follows:

• 2 SLRD coaches (Seating-cum-Luggage Rake)

• 2 General unreserved coaches

• 7 Sleeper Class coaches

• 6 AC 3-Tier coaches

• 1 AC 2-Tier coach

Train Cancellations Due to Development Work

Due to infrastructural development work in the Chakradharpur Division, the following trains have been cancelled:

• Train no. 18601/18602 Tatanagar – Hatia – Tatanagar Express will remain cancelled on April 6, 13, and 20.

• Train no. 58023/58024 Tatanagar – Barkakana – Tatanagar Passenger (via Muri) will be cancelled on April 27.
