Udaipur: Two trains operating from Udaipur City Railway Station will be canceled on different dates, causing inconvenience to passengers. The weekly Shalimar Express, which runs from Udaipur to Shalimar, will be canceled on August 24 and 31 this month.
Additionally, the train from Shalimar to Udaipur will be canceled on August 25 and September 1. This decision has been taken due to non-interlocking work at Damoh station under the West Central Railway. Recently, the train running between Udaipur and Badi Sadri was also canceled due to a wall collapse near the track.
Chetak Express to Add Sleeper Coach Until September 1
Considering the festive season, the railway authorities have decided to add one second sleeper coach to the Chetak Express until September 1. This train runs from Udaipur to Delhi Sarai Rohilla. The additional coach will be available on the train coming from Delhi to Udaipur until August 31 and on the train going from Udaipur to Delhi until September 1.
This decision will benefit passengers traveling for Independence Day on August 15, Raksha Bandhan on August 19, and Janmashtami on August 26. Due to the festive season, seats in almost all trains are fully booked until the end of this month, with long waiting lists.
