Mumbai, October 17 (Udaipur Kiran): Unlike every year when Bollywood stars light up the festival of Diwali with grand celebrations, this year will see a change in tradition. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actor Ayushmann Khurrana will not be hosting Diwali parties in 2025, putting a pause on two of the industry’s most talked-about festive gatherings.
No Diwali Bash at Mannat This Year
According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan’s manager Pooja Dadlani has confirmed that the actor will not host his annual Diwali party this time. The reason is the ongoing renovation work at his Bandra residence, Mannat. The actor and his family are currently living in a rented house owned by producer Jackky Bhagnani.
Every year, Mannat is beautifully illuminated and decorated like a palace during Diwali, attracting fans and photographers from across the city. However, this year, fans will miss that familiar festive sight.
Ayushmann Focused on His Upcoming Film ‘Thama’
Meanwhile, actor Ayushmann Khurrana has also decided to skip hosting a Diwali celebration this year. In 2024, Ayushmann and his wife Tahira Kashyap had thrown a star-studded Diwali party attended by several Bollywood celebrities.
However, this year, the actor is fully focused on promoting his upcoming film ‘Thama’, which is set to release in theatres during the Diwali weekend. Owing to his busy promotional schedule, he has opted not to host a celebration at home.
Both Shah Rukh Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Diwali parties have been highlights of Bollywood’s festive calendar for years. Their absence this time may disappoint fans, though many are looking forward to a grand comeback next year, especially with Mannat’s renovated look.
