Gold and Silver Jewelry Also Found in Temple Treasury
Udaipur / Chittorgarh, February 3 – The revered Shri Saanwaliyaji Temple in Rajasthan has recorded a massive offering of approximately ₹23 crore in its fifth phase of donation counting. The counting process, conducted on Monday, revealed a substantial amount collected from the temple treasury (Bhandar) and the offering chamber (Bhent Kaksh). In addition to cash donations, gold and silver jewelry have also been received. The counting of coins collected in the treasury is still pending and will take place on Tuesday.
The entire counting process was carried out in the presence of temple board officials and staff to ensure transparency and accountability.

Fifth Phase of Counting Brings Total Collection to ₹23 Crore
The donation counting process for the Saanwaliyaji Temple began on January 28, 2025, when the temple treasury was opened. By the fourth phase of counting, a total of ₹16.32 crore had been recorded. On Monday, in the fifth phase, another ₹67.54 lakh was counted.
Additionally, ₹5.92 crore was collected from the temple’s offering chamber and online donations. With these latest figures, the cumulative total of cash donations has reached ₹22.92 crore. The final step of the treasury counting process, which involves weighing the coins received as offerings, will take place on Tuesday.

Apart from cash donations, substantial gold and silver offerings were also found in the temple treasury and the offering chamber. The latest figures reveal:

- 168.64 grams from the temple office
- 497 grams from the temple treasury
- Total Gold Received: 665.64 grams
- Silver Collected:
- 80.657 kg from the temple office
- 52.997 kg from the temple treasury
- Total Silver Received: 133.654 kg
These precious offerings will be evaluated and recorded separately.
